Praktikumsaufgaben 6 - WLAN-Hotspot

1) Verstehen und beschreiben Sie den Unterschied "normaler" WLAN-Zellen und WLAN-Hotspots.

2) Konfigurieren Sie einen Linux-Server so, dass er alle Aufgaben eines WLAN Hotspots übernimmt, d.h. Benutzerverwaltung, Authentication Authorization, Accounting (AAA), Adresszuweisung und Routing übernimmt.

3) Konfigurieren Sie einen Hotspot auf Basis des Hostap-Treibers so, dass er Verbindungen zwischen verschiedenen Stationen des WLANs untereinander unterbindet.

WLAN-Hotspot

1) Understand and describe the difference between "normal" WLAN cells and WLAN hotspots.

2) Configure a linux server in a way that it can handle all tasks expected from a WLAN hotspot, ie user accounting, authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), address assignment and routing.

3) Configure the hotspot based on the hostap driver so that it does not allow connections between distinct stations on the WLAN.
